A3: Anti-Bullying In Arts Education with Patrice Palmer and Adam Collins

Sponsored by Full Expression! A Dance Collective and Playcrafter Kids
October is National Anti-Bullying Month and it's time to shine light on the issues, resources, and support our artistic community needs in order to thrive.

Join us in-person at Full Expression! (1200 South College Ave. Fort Collins CO) for our second A3 workshop that aims to combat bullying through the power of arts education!

This event brings together artists, educators, and advocates who are passionate about using the arts to address and prevent bullying in artistic spaces, schools, and communities.

During the afternoon, you'll have the opportunity to attend engaging workshops, listen to inspiring speakers, and participate in interactive sessions. Our lineup of experts will share their experiences and approaches for fostering more inclusive environments through art, music, theater, dance, and more.

Registration Fee: $10 - all funds will be donated to SPLASH Youth of Northern Colorado

***EVENT VOCUBULARY***

How do artists advocate for themselves in spaces that have limited resources and no real functioning systems of support?

Where do artists go when they have a complaint or need help navigating the space that they are in

As artistic spaces evolve, Full Expression! wants to connect our creative community with individuals who are doing justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion work daily while offering practical ways and resources on how to embody advocacy.

Panelists will represent different areas of advocacy ranging from anti-bullying, sexual abuse prevention and education, anti-racism, disability activism and other fields.

This panel is for anyone who identifies as an artist and wants to be part of the conversation. We will offer a facilitated group panel followed by smaller group discussions, as well as an opportunity to network with guests.
